	GAME SUMMARY It was a competitive game with several lead changes.  The Saints led by as many as seven points in the first half, but just couldn’t pull it off down the stretch.  Meramec took control of the game with some key defensive stops and some sharp shooting from the free throw line to seal the victory.  The Saints were led by sophomore forwards Marcus Spivey and Jonathan Griffin who combined for 25 points and 18 rebounds.  The Saints fall to 6-5 on the season with two games left in the fall semester.  COACH SPARKS COMMENTS “We played well defensively early and we just got away from what was working for us.  We can’t take anything away from Meramec, they out played us today, but we hurt ourselves with unforced turnovers, poor shot selection, and poor execution. ”      STATISTICAL LEADERS Jonathan Griffin 13 points 8 rebounds 2 blocks 6 deflections 2 steals Marcus Spivey 12 points 10 rebounds
